ReMyind ("we," "our," or "us") operates the ReMyind mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App.

• Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address, display name, and optionally your profile picture, board (CBSE/ICSE), class level, and preferred subjects.
• User Content: Quizzes you create, articles and URLs you share to the app, quiz responses, and study materials you upload.
• Communications: If you contact us for support, we collect the content of your message and your contact details.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Usage Data: Quiz completion rates, scores, streaks, time spent studying, features used, and learning progress.
• Device Information: Device type, operating system version, app version, and unique device identifiers.
• Crash Data: If the app crashes, we collect diagnostic information via Firebase Crashlytics to fix bugs and improve stability.

1.3 Information We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect precise location data
• We do not access your contacts, call logs, or SMS
• We do not record audio or video without your explicit action
• We do not track you across other apps or websites

We retain your personal data only as long as necessary to provide our services:

• Account data: Retained while your account is active. Deleted within 30 days of account deletion request.
• Quiz and learning data: Retained while your account is active to provide spaced repetition and progress tracking.
• Crash reports: Retained for 90 days, then automatically deleted.
• Purchase records: Retained as required by tax and financial regulations (typically 7 years).

• Database access is protected by Row Level Security (RLS) policies
• Authentication tokens are securely stored on your device
• Server-side API keys are never exposed in the client application

7. Children's Privacy

ReMyind is designed for students aged 13 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@remyind.app and we will delete the information.

For students between 13 and 18, we recommend using the app with parental awareness. No sensitive personal information beyond what is described in this policy is collected.

8. International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed in countries other than India, including where our cloud infrastructure providers operate. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for any international data transfers, including standard contractual clauses and adequacy decisions where applicable.

9. Cookies and Tracking

The ReMyind mobile app does not use cookies. Our website (re.myind.ai) uses only essential cookies required for basic functionality. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking technologies.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by:

• Posting the updated policy in the app
• Updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
• Sending an email notification for significant changes
