Terms of Service

Welcome to ReMyind. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the ReMyind mobile application ("App") and related services. By using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

2. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must not share your account with others or create multiple accounts
• You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms

3. Use of the App

3.1 Permitted Use

You may use the App for personal, non-commercial educational purposes, including:

• Creating and taking quizzes
• Participating in battles with other users
• Sharing content for quiz generation
• Tracking your learning progress
• Purchasing coins and subscriptions

3.2 Prohibited Use

You must not:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Upload content that is offensive, hateful, sexually explicit, or promotes violence
• Harass, bully, or intimidate other users
• Use bots, scripts, or automated tools to manipulate the App, battles, or leaderboards
• Attempt to gain unfair advantage in battles through cheating or exploitation of bugs
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App
• Impersonate other users or misrepresent your identity
• Distribute or share copyrighted content without appropriate rights
• Use the App to distribute spam, malware, or phishing content

4. AI-Generated Content

• ReMyind uses artificial intelligence to generate quiz questions from content you share
• AI-generated quizzes may occasionally contain errors or inaccuracies
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or correctness of AI-generated content
• You should not rely solely on AI-generated quizzes for exam preparation without cross-referencing with authoritative sources
• We continuously work to improve the quality and accuracy of our AI systems

5. Coin Economy and Virtual Currency

• Coins are virtual currency used within the App for premium features and content
• Coins have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash
• Coins are non-transferable between users unless through App-designated features
• Free coin allocations are provided monthly based on your subscription tier
• We reserve the right to modify coin prices, earn rates, and allocation amounts
• Unused coins do not expire as long as your account remains active

6. Subscriptions and Purchases

6.1 Subscription Plans

6.2 Billing

• Subscriptions are billed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store
• Payment is charged to your App Store or Play Store account upon confirmation
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your device's app store settings

6.3 Refunds

• Refund requests for subscriptions must be directed to Apple or Google, as they process all payments
• Coin purchases are generally non-refundable once coins have been used
• For unused coin purchases, contact support@remyind.app within 48 hours of purchase

7. User Content

7.1 Content You Share

When you share content (URLs, articles, PDFs) with the App for quiz generation:

• You retain ownership of any content you own
• You grant us a limited license to process the content for quiz generation
• You represent that you have the right to share the content
• Shared content is processed by our AI and stored for your personal use

7.2 Quizzes You Create

• Quizzes generated from your shared content are associated with your account
• You may share quizzes with other users through the App's sharing features
• We may use anonymized, aggregated quiz data to improve our AI models

8. Battle Mode Rules

• Battles are friendly educational competitions between users
• All participants must answer questions honestly without external assistance
• Using search engines, AI tools, or other assistance during battles is considered cheating
• Users found cheating may have their battle records reset and may face account suspension
• Leaderboard rankings are based on legitimate gameplay only

9. Intellectual Property

• The App, including its design, code, features, and branding, is owned by ReMyind
• The ReMyind name, logo, and terracotta design system are our trademarks
• You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without our written consent
• Third-party content shared to the App remains the property of its respective owners

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• AI-generated quizzes will be accurate or complete
• The App will meet your specific requirements
• Results obtained from the App will be accurate or reliable

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ReMyind shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, academic outcomes, or profits, arising from your use of the App.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the App shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or ₹1,000, whichever is greater.

12. Account Termination

• You may delete your account at any time through the App settings or via our account deletion page
• We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms
• Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy
• Active subscriptions should be cancelled through your app store before deleting your account

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the App or via email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
